Julija Jeremic is the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Curriculum Developer at Vantage Point. She brings over 20 years of experience in facilitation, leadership, and research in the not-for-profit sector and academia. Julija worked with marginalized communities in Serbia and Southeast Europe, within European Union, and Canada on strengthening and building their individual and organizational capacities and skills. Most of her work was dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and disability organizations, with a focus on youth and students with disabilities, while she also worked with Roma people, LGBTQ2S+ youth, and seniors.

Julija dedicated the last couple of years to her academic work and teaching at the university level and is currently finishing her doctoral dissertation at Educational Technology and Learning Design program at the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. She has MA in education. Her academic focus is on the ethics of technology, how to improve the education of future technology developers, and empower these developers to create socially conscious technologies. Julija also volunteers for the International Game Developers Association helping with the development of the new video game curriculum framework that will be socially and culturally sensitive and inclusive.

In her free time, Julija enjoys visiting beaches and parks with her dog, hanging out with friends and family, and cooking vegan food. She also loves to travel and explore new places and is always happy to discuss various social topics.
