How do you create change when you don’t have the resources or authority to make the change yourself? Advocacy! In this three-hour workshop, clarify your advocacy goals, develop an advocacy strategy, and build confidence to engage your community in advocacy work.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session you will begin to:
1. Articulate your priorities for advocacy work
2. Leverage community engagement in your advocacy work
3. Identify key elements of an effective advocacy strategy

Recognized as a Vancouver Island Top-20 Under-40, Geoff leads the development of strategic programming and organizational development to further the aspirations of the charitable sector and the dedicated people who work and volunteer for the causes that matter most to them.
A graduate of Stanford’s Executive Program for Non-Profit Leaders, Geoff is presently the BC SPCA’s General Manager of Strategy and Innovation.
