2021 Digital Accessibility Guide
Resource Provided By Vantage Point
As the Vantage Point team explores more accessible ways of distributing our media, we want to make our research available to other not-for-profits as well.
This guide is based on an internal Accessibility Guide created by Vantage Point staff members and establishes some basic principles in Universal Design, wherein designing content or experiences starts with everyone in mind from the beginning of each design process. It goes on to outline step-by-step practices to make digital media accessible to people of varying disabilities.
Whether working in common Microsoft 365 programs like Word and PowerPoint, online marketing software like Mailchimp, or wanting an introduction to Adobe Acrobat’s accessibility functions, this is a well-rounded starting point.

“What are the six styles of leadership? None will shock workplace veterans.
Indeed, each style, by name and brief description alone, will likely resonate with anyone who leads, is led, or as is the case with most of us, does both.
Coercive leaders demand immediate compliance. Authoritative leaders mobilize people toward a vision. Affiliative leaders create emotional bonds and harmony. Democratic leaders build concensus through participation. Pacesetting leaders expect excellence and self-direction. And coaching leaders develop people for the future.”

There are a number of factors that go into developing a strong not-for-profit organization, and building the right senior leadership team is the most important. Recruiting senior leaders requires an investment of time, and the capacity and expertise to successfully identify and attract the best possible candidates. While some organizations choose to rely solely on their board, staff and/or network to fill senior positions, organizations may also benefit from engaging the services of an Executive Recruitment Firm.
This guides and outlines the advantage to working with an Executive Recruitment Firm.
