When challenges in a non-profit organization arise, finding the right expert can make all the difference. While Vantage Point is there for them, there are times when organizations come to us looking for support beyond our services or capacity. One of our goals is to make sure that everyone that comes to us has somewhere to turn.
This is where the Vantage Point Referral List comes in.
Our Vantage Point Referral List connects non-profit organizations with consultants, facilitators, and other professionals who bring expertise in areas that strengthen organizational capacity.
Who Can Join
While we work with professionals across industries who bring unique perspectives and skills that can help non-profit organizations, there are a few steps you need to take before joining the Vantage Point Referral List.
If you or your organization have provided services to two or more non-profit organizations, we invite you to fill out the application and take the next step to being discovered by non-profits across BC.
On the form, we ask you to share your contact information, for more detail about your experience and more about your area of expertise to best place you on the list when organizations put in a request for your skills.
If your experience is primarily in the business or public sector and you haven't worked with non-profits before, you may still be able to contribute through our Knowledge Philanthropist program. Our knowledge philanthropists are a network of skilled volunteers who generously share their expertise to strengthen BC's non-profit sector. Through their contributions, Vantage Point has been able to aid non-profits as they work to build capacity, strengthen leadership, and create greater community impact
How it Works
Once Vantage Point has reviewed and accepted your application, we add you to the referral lists that match your area of expertise.
Then when non-profits have a challenge and reach out to request a referral, we provide an alphabetical list of qualified service providers whose experience aligns with their needs.
The information sent out to the organizations includes, your name, organization, phone number, email, website and description of your experience and expertise.
It is important to note that Vantage Point does not evaluate or endorse individual providers on the Vantage Point Referral List. Instead, the list serves as a resource to help organizations identify professionals who fit their needs.
Join the List and Use Your Expertise for Good
The Vantage Point Referral List is one of the main ways we connect non-profit leaders with the experts they need to build stronger organization and create greater community impact. Non-profit organizations are looking for specialized support and you could be the missing piece they need.
Complete the Vantage Point Referral List application form and become part of a trusted network of professionals serving BC's non-profit sector.
