Finances aren't usually what draws people to non-profit work, which can make money a topic we talk around rather than through, even though it shapes every program decision an organization makes. Our new Financial Management and Planning workshop will help you build practical financial literacy, moving past common discomfort around budgets to see them as tools for leadership, transparency, and mission delivery. Through interactive discussion and hands-on activities, you'll learn how to build a realistic program budget, track spending, and understand where your organization's money comes from and where it goes.
The session is designed for people who are relatively new to budgeting and financial planning for non-profits, such as program managers, new EDs or CEOs, or working board members guiding a non-profit through its early stages.
Together, we'll explore how budgeting decisions connect to funding, sustainability, and impact, so you can make more informed and confident choices about your organization's resources.
