Steering Committee

About the Committee

The BC Non-Profit Network Steering Committee governs the network and is comprised of representatives from different non-profit sub-sectors, geographical regions, demographic focus groups, and sizes of organizations. Members of the Steering Committee will provide direction to Vantage Point and help to guide the foundational pieces of the network’s development. The Steering Committee will govern the network, with the following responsibilities:  

• Determining strategic priorities and key activities for the network. 
• Setting short, medium, and long-term goals for the network. 
• Providing direction and guidance to the network convener, Vantage Point. 
• Identifying policy issues and opportunities; and determining policy positions and advocacy strategies. 
• Supporting network and sector engagement, and the reach of network activities. 
• Providing strategic oversight and stewardship of network Working Groups. 
• Developing network agreements and processes. 

In March 2024, Vantage Point conducted a call for interest for Steering Committee members. We received 62 submissions of interest and invited seventeen organizations to join the Steering Committee. The current members are:
