Fatima is an experienced facilitator, community organizer, and a proud aunt!

She leans on her background in social justice, grassroots organization, journalism, and a career of 20 years working in the non-profit sector to create spaces where participants feel safe to share, explore, and think boldly about their future.

She has a natural ability to lead a team with confidence while centering empathy, lived experience, common values, and community needs. Her facilitation style is reflective, engaging, and personable and she uses creative tools to help teams surface their passion for their community, discover common ground, and move forward with shared solutions.

She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia, and enjoys traveling, drinking green tea, and storytelling.
