Executive Director 101 Lab

Your organization is capable of amazing things. Let us support you to achieve your full potential.

Lab Outline

Executive Director 101 supports first-time, or incoming, executive directors (EDs) with practical skills and knowledge to succeed in their role.

In this lab we will explore the eight domains of the ED position: Leadership, Governance, Program and Service Management, Human Resources, Fund Development, Financial Management, Community and Public Relations, and Administration.

Suggested participants: New and incoming executive directors (including other similar roles like CEOs, artistic directors and managing directors) who are looking for some structure and insight to the EDs key responsibilities.

Important note! If you are an executive director with more than 1 year of experience in the role, our Advanced Executive Lab may be a better fit for you.
